AIBU to be annoyed by my boss during my notice period?

My boss is trying to make me feel bad while I am on my notice period. I am leaving not this week the next & start at my new job the week after & Tom I have an Induction day at new place of work. Saying things to me like Oh you may not like it there, grass is always greener here, can’t wait to hear all about the new place who I bet are nothing like us. Getting annoying now. What’s the best way to handle this?

Don't thank him or her on the day you leave, thank those who have avoided being bitter about your move.

Did he give you time off for the induction in new job despite no annual leave?

Yes I had Annual leave so took it as that

I had the same thing very recently. It’s an ego thing - boss feels slighted you’ve dared to choose to leave. Very immature. The professional equivalent of breaking up with someone and they go “your new BF is a munter anyway, hope you’re happy together 🖕🏻” etc

If you’re not arsed about burning bridges you could have some fun I suppose, if your current workplace has been shit. Ala - him - “bet you won’t like it there”…. you - “well, can’t be any bloody worse than here, hahaha” etc
