HRT Tweaks

I know IABU for posting here, but hoping for more traffic than the Meno board gets.
On month 5 of HRT: oestrogen patch and micronised progesterone pills. All good. In fact, bloody great to start with!
Last 4 weeks or so I've started to be irritable. It's not too bad, but I don't like it. The main issue, though, is that my libido has disappeared. It was really low before starting HRT, then was really good for the first couple of months. Now, nothing.
It's upsetting and it is putting a strain on my relationship....and I want to want sex!
I've got a GP appointment next week. Thinking g about asking either for a tweak of current HRT or the addition of testosterone.
I was wondering if anyone has a similar story -preferably with a happy ending?
Thanks.

Testosterone can be prescribed for low libido. It’s a bit of a faff on the nhs but I actually got it with very little difficulty. It’s helped a lot though I’ll never be 20 again 😁

Yes I have and actually spoke to my GP last week about the same and insomnia. I was also hoping for the T but she has increased my oestrogen and my progrsterone. More oestrogen for libido and more P for sleep. Having bloods next month and will review with her then. She said then we can try Testosterone if this is not helping.

1 week on increased oestrogen and really absolutely zero libido still! I really feel T is the missing link for me.

Watching but with nothing helpful to add, sorry! Same boat here, I went to GP and they put me on a 30 wk waiting list for the menopause clinic so am waiting for that to come through. Hope Wednesday is helpful for you

Yeah, I'm worried about being 'fobbed off'. I also feel it's the missing piece of the puzzle.
I began the whole HRT thing via BUPA's menopause plan and, although it's a bit pricey, I think I'll go back there if I have no luck.
It sucks, doesn't it (ahem, no double entendre intended...)
