Because she’s autistic so had an full educational psychologist assessment done which includes cognitive tests including IQ and identified her as gifted and talented and measured her IQ against standardised scores across statistically validated data based on millions of people across the world.

Anything else, or is the entirety of the rest of the thread going to be about your slightly disturbing over-interest in my child rather than the thread topic?

You brought the topic up about your own child. And you thought it was hilarious by doing so…. Just because the responses you’re getting don’t suit your narrative you’re now claiming people have an over interest in your daughter.
Well don’t post such daft comments about your daughter drawing farage as a slug and you posting it back to their HQ in the first place then

She saw his leaflet and read what it said. She clearly didn’t like it.

Oh come on……

Senescence · 08/05/2026 06:23

Sartre · 08/05/2026 06:22

I’d like to know this too. Also does she think we should incorporate more participatory methods of democracy in the UK and is she a fan of the epistemic model?

She’s 6 and knows nothing about politics as I’ve stated already. She just doesn’t like unkind and hateful people.

This is very tiresome now.

Flyingintotheunknown · 08/05/2026 06:23

Senescence · 08/05/2026 06:22

Her picture and response was far less nasty than the unsolicited hateful material posted through our letterbox in the first place. She was perfectly reasonable to respond and state this was unwanted.

Yeah sure it was 🤣

To be fair my IQ is fairly high and I did have an early interest in politics. I definitely didn’t draw slugs on Tory leaflets or anything but I recognised that I quite liked the Lib Dem’s for one reason or another, I was a fan of Charles Kennedy at like 8 years old.

Flyingintotheunknown · 08/05/2026 05:35

I thought you was talking about a grown adult daughter until I read she was 6!
A 6 year old directing so much hate and making personal comments about an individual! Wonder who she gets that from!

Yeah I’d be worried, not proud. It’s not normal. Poor kid.

Compared to socialism? An emphatic yes.

Are they the only two options? How about the Nordic social democracies? And you think more public spending cuts will fix our crumbling country? Interesting.

Senescence · 08/05/2026 06:26

TerfOnATrain · 08/05/2026 06:23

Oh come on……

Come on what? Someone recounts and anecdote and you don’t like it so you want to constantly attavk the person who has posted it and accuse them of lying?

I really do not appreciate being called a liar. I have a photo of her response on my phone as it was so funny I took a picture of it before I posted it back. I will not post it here but am happy to provide it to Mumsnet to prove what I am saying is true. So wither report my posts and Mumsnet can verify they are true for you, or stop accusing me of lying when I’m not.

Ok we get it.

You, with your super high IQ and economist credentials are raising a kid, who at six, writes hate mail to people. Each to their own.

Can we get back to the topic now.

It was hilarious. You might not find it funny but I am many others did. Like I said it is absolutely true and I have proof so either report my posts to Mumsnet and I can provide the proof to them to verify what I have said or stop accusing people of lying just because you don’t like that a 6 year old can see through the charlatan named Farage.

And there’s what’s wrong with society…. You found a personal attack on someone funny! Okay! Anyway as op says let’s get back on topic, think we have all given you enough airtime now

It wasn’t hate mail. It was far less hateful than what he sent to our house without our consent. He can therefore expect a reply. If he’s so sensitive he can’t handle a 6 year old comparing his sliminess to a slug then he’s probably in the wrong job.

Pipsquiggle · 08/05/2026 06:30

Do people honestly really like Reform?

Nigel and Brexit have caused more people to be poorer than Labour.

Reform Councils and Councillors are shit

Why aren't people connecting the dots?

MikeRafone · 08/05/2026 06:30

OneTealShaker · 08/05/2026 01:30

I wonder if people who insult voters by calling them stupid ever learn. Clearly didn’t learn from the Brexit vote.

Insulting voters will never win them around to your way of thinking.

Not insulting Reform voters wouldn’t win them round to a different way of thinking either

Yeah, the “attack on someone” that was a problem here was a 6 year old rebutting racism rather tham the person who sent the unsolicited racist leaflet to our house in the first place. 😆

The Nordic model will not work here - I think you know the reasons why. Give me some time, and I will happily share my reasoning.

Following your logic.

Many are voting Reform despite this.

What does that say about Labour???

OneTealShaker · 08/05/2026 06:32

Senescence · 08/05/2026 06:09

My daughter saw Rachel Reeves in a TV interview I was watching when she walked into the room and said she was talking nonsense. I can’t disagree with that either.

This is getting silly now.

A 6 year old who reads election leaflets and then sends hate filled feedback to party leaders. Listen to chancellor speeches and then critiques them.

You are hijacking this thread with nonsense. And making yourself ridiculous in the process.

The topic is the council elections and Reform’s performance vs the other parties.

At least someone can see if. Decades of Conservative rule and people are daft enough to blame socialism.

To be fair this information is not taught, unless you have an interest in it, you won't necessarily have a true picture of our economic history. Only since I read a few Naomi Klein books that I was truly aware of the full extent of the damage done by free market capitalism. And Farage wants more. On steroids.

SurreySenMum26 · 08/05/2026 06:34

Oh dear. I hate Reform. Them winning the next GE is inevitable. Careful what you wish for. Watch more of Trump and prepair for the future. Then ray to God you don't need the benefit system anytime soon. Ie no one have a stroke or a major accident after voting for that twerp

Facecream24 · 08/05/2026 06:37

Whilst the number of seats up or down is the headline. What you need to actually look at who controls the council and so far Labour have retained a few, a lot have entered no overall control and only one - Stoke on Trent has been won by Reform. Still a long way to go but they haven’t actually gained control of much yet.

Spiffingdarling88 · 08/05/2026 06:38

dottiehens · 08/05/2026 06:11

The nastier party? Labour is the nasty party.

Indeed they are, they have stopped food vouchers for during the school holidays for children on free school meals, I remember when Boris said he was going to stop it and there was huge outcry.

Labour have voted for not charging women with killing their child up to birth, assisted suicide, halving UC money for the disabled. Outrageous targeting the most vulnerable in society!

Flyingintotheunknown · 08/05/2026 06:39

It’s been quite an interesting watch on the news this morning. There were no local elections in my area this time but I think the general consensus from what I’m seeing of the results so far from other areas is that most people have had enough of Labour

ChardonnaysBeastlyCat · 08/05/2026 06:39

I think things would be a lot better for all of us if instead of slugging insults (see what I did here🙂)we took the time to reflect on why people voted the way they did.
