AIBU to be stressed about Universal Credit rejecting nursery payment evidence?

For the past 2 years I have recieved some help from Universal Credit to help pay for nursery fees as a one income household and a very average salary.

Never had any problems sending in evidence of paying invoices etc...until now. As usual have sent in copy of invoice and proof of payment from my bank. They have said the evidence is unsatisfactory 🤯 I also forwarded receipt of payment from nursery and a screenshot of all payments I have made from my bank this month. Still unsatisfactory. They want me to come in with evidence to the job centre which is over an hours round trip from a job that isnt that easy to get time off from.

Has anyone else been in the same boat ? Ive asked them multiple times why the evidence has been correct for the past 2 years and not now but they never answer the question.

Making me anxious and stressed out to be honest 🙃

Are you speaking through the journal online? If so, they are only authorised to give certain responses.

Mine kept insisting I was unemployed and should attend the job centre, despite me repeatedly explaining I wasn’t unemployed (literally no circumstances changed in 9 years) and would have to take time off to attend.

Eventually persuaded them to move the appt to a Saturday which I could do, when I got there the advisor said ‘I don’t know why you’re here’ Well duh.

He explained that once the computer had decided something, those on the journals couldn’t over-ride it. He could, and did so in a few mins.

Yes speaking via the journal. Ah okay that explains it as the responses are infuriating 😅
