As some of you know my stepmother has recently chosen to witdraw contact from myself and more importantly from my daughter ("her grandaughter")... Should I try to smooth things by sending a birthdat card for end of June even though she ignired dh birthday at end of may? ?
Or am I being overly optimistic an hammering at a closed door --- which is DH view?
