Its just such a vulgar display of pointless fashion to me. I can count on one hand the amount of outfits that I've thought "Wow".

No, it's so tacky now, it seems to be about who can wear the most outrageously awful outfit to get the most clicks.

it all went wrong when it changed from being the Met Ball, when it was about fashion and beautifully dressed socialites, to the Met Gala revolving around celebrities who don't can't get out of bed without their stylist and glam squad.

I do love the fashion, it's always out there but fun to watch, I don't stay up for it but will be scrolling in the morning to have a good luck at the hits and misses of the night. Looking forward to seeing Beyonce on it as it's her first one in years. Lauren and Jeff bezos are the big sponsors this year so will be interesting to see who dresses them and the outfits too. And I think of all the seamstresses in the designer houses and the work they have put in over hours and months for a dress that will be worn once !

No. I used to like it back in the day when there were some beautiful dresses but now it’s just one big tacky publicity stunt. I’ve completely lost interest
