I am actually horrified. A third, Muslim, man was stabbed in the attack but he isn’t being mentioned anywhere. How is this allowed?!

There were 49,151 knife crimes last year
(https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c30re70lqn1o) so without the racist persecution element knife crime is so common as to be a non story in modern Britain.

I hadn't seen anything about this car being burnt outside a Mosque but then I also hadn't seen anything about the private ambulances paid for by the Jewish community being torched until I read someone on here moaning about London NHS loaning them some of theirs. Arson it seems is also nothing remarkable in society today.

His crimes can be both racially motivated and caused by mental health issues. That’s entirely possible. The police wouldn’t have said he was hunting for ‘visibly Jewish’ people to injure or kill unless they were absolutely certain. So he can be both mentally ill and antisemitic.

I don't know what the answer is.

It's important to challenge people if you have the mental energy to do so, but you also have to accept I think that some beliefs are so ingrained that no amount of logical argument will make a difference.

Yes in the ground but still in possession of the weapon and not fully secured therefore he was still a threat.

They’re not trying to erase the third victim! In every single news story I’ve read or watched on this - and every person I’ve spoken to about it - the third victim has been mentioned.

The point is that the attacker injured his first victim - his friend - and then travelled to Golders Green, a known Jewish area, to find ‘visibly Jewish’ people to injure. That premeditation - and the fact he was targeting people from a specific community - makes his crime extremely serious.

He can be both mentally ill and antisemitic. That’s completely possible.

They were wearing kippahs and other identifying traditional clothing.

I would have thought it's fairly obvious? You can recognise orthodox Jews by their dress. Other Jews also wear kippah, for example.

At least one of them (the 76-year-old) was wearing a kippah, which is a Jewish men's head covering. Not sure about the other one, maybe he was equally wearing something that identified him as Jewish as there seems no doubt about it.
