AIBU to be furious over an incorrect result on my notes?

I’m pregnant and 2 months ago went to maternity triage due to spotting/cramps. They took a swab and I was told I have thrush afterwards. No big deal.
Today I checked my test result notes on the app and saw an entry from that visit saying positive for thrush AND chlamydia. Obviously I completely panicked.
I called my GP who said they can only see thrush on their system, nothing about chlamydia. I then spoke to maternity triage and the midwife checked and told me there is no chlamydia result on my report from that visit and that it must be an error on Badger Notes.
I had a massive shock seeing that with crazy scenarios going through my head about DH potentially cheating on me etc. I had a panic attack for like 30 minutes (pregnancy hormones are also making it more stressful)
And now I’m being told it’s a “mistake” as if it is no biggie
AIBU to be absolutely furious about this?? It feels like a huge thing to get wrong, especially in pregnancy.

I find the design of the NHS app very poor. In my experience even the GP's can't find information easily on it. There are too many click box errors made. For example, I had to confirm a normal blood pressure before starting a gym entry. The automated SMS said " blood pressure normal. Keep on with the medication as previously"
Except I am not on medication and never have been. The GP practice say they can't send me a new SMS without that last sentence. They say they could type a note to say all is well and I am fine to exercise but only if I am happy to pay £43 for the fit note!
So I am being asked to pay for their error!

What are you on about? The result was simply on my badger notes, it wasn’t a report or anything. It simply said “positive: chlamydia” and there was a t result on the same day saying “positive: candida….” The gp said she can only see the report confirming thrush on their end and the hospital confirmed that there is nothing about chlamydia on any of my rest results but they can see the badger app one which is literally just a word, and said this isn’t the first time this has happened on badger app and it’s simply an admin error when they were inputting my thrush result.

I work in this field in my area this is his how it works- Test results are published on one system accessible to the GP- it’s likely this is the system the GP staff are viewing and seeing the thrush result. Badgernet is only accessible to maternity staff in my area and test results are copied from the reporting system manually by maternity staff - recording results involves a drop down tick box so it’s easy to accidentally tick more than one box and easy to amend this if an error is made. I may be wrong but my thoughts are the staff member entering the results to badgernet has ticked the wrong box and GP is looking at the actual results portal and that’s why they are saying they can’t see it on their end as there is no mention of chlamydia on your actual result report. I don’t think it’s the case that someone else’s result has been mixed up with yours but an entry error has been made.
if I was involved I would have apologised, given an explanation of how this happened and offered a retest for peace of mind. I would have then documented the episode on badgenet and contacted the GP to explain so it could also be recorded on their notes in case of future queries.

My pregnancy from 2024 they put in my after birth notes that my placenta had failed, I only saw it when I went for my most recent pregnancy and I got my old pregnancy into for my notes and I panicked when I saw it thinking this was going to happen again, turned out it was a mistake, granted it’s a pretty huge mistake. I just accepted it thankful it wasn’t true. Then moved on.

They can potentially be very big deals though so it’s always best to inform them if there’s an error, no matter how small seeming. (Although I don’t think an STD misdiagnosis is a small matter), and ask to see the updated report (once a new test has been taken) if you don’t have access on an app.

Where did i say not to inform them of their mistake?
