What phrases do you hate? It gives me the rage when my mum says put up and shut up. I know that some things are not within my control and that i have to do things i don't like.

Oh I thought of another one "sweet treats" i saw it on Facebook this morning a market stall selling "sweet treats" i had a bit of rage bubbling 😡

Oh yes, this one. I feel like saying, well I'm relieved to hear I haven't caused a problem by paying for my shopping! I also hate it when for example I'm booking a holiday on the phone, they ask what airport I'd be flying from, I tell them. "Perfect!" they say. "How many nights?" "14" "Perfect!"

‘Date nights’ for people who are married or who live together. It’s not a date, you’re just going out for a meal, to the pub etc.

I was very pleased to read in The Spectator about others’ visceral hatred of “picky bits”. It makes me shudder. Sounds so precious , picking at things like a very speshul gannet.
