Fire breathing AIBU?

Just had a fire breathing post pop up on my Instagram.

AIBU to absolutely hate this as party or event entertainment? Putting fuel in your mouth and basically spitting it out onto a flame to make a big flame/explosion is just gross 🤢 Who wants to sit in the front row for that? Splash zone? 🤮

And then putting the flame in your mouth to put it out is just a big no from me!

Just why?

YABU spitting fuel is perfectly acceptable at any gathering or party
YANBU fire breathing is disgusting

Fire performances can be spectacular, and professionals observe stringent H&S and have expensive insurance. Nobody in the audience should be in any sort if danger zone.

If it's not to one's taste, it's easy to avoid.

My late DP had flaming swords that he wielded to dramatic effect for live performance with fire breathers etc. I miss those days.....

So yeah, IMHO YABU.

I like the smell of the fuel

What splash zone? It's not sea world! The fuel gets projected into the air and set alight thereby burning off as it's in the air.

Yanbu to dislike something, I personally hate watching sword swallowing or other similar tricks as they make me heave. But I don't care if anyone else enjoys them.
