Literally everyone does?

Buscobel · 27/04/2026 11:03

Yes, often.

Sometimes, can’t be arsed, sometimes just feeling off.

OnlyMabelInTheBuilding · 27/04/2026 11:04

Of course.

A walk outside almost always helps, especially in a nature environment - fields, park, woods etc

8.3 billion people in the world and I'd hazard a guess all of us have 😁

Sometimes I try to pull myself out of it and sometimes I can't be arsed.

Does no harm now and then.

No, never. I am a machine!

Just kidsing, of course everyone feels like this.

Belladog1 · 27/04/2026 11:10

Yeah, probably once a week. I just want to go home, turn the TV on, snuggle with the dogs and ignore the world.

I actually had one of these last Saturday. I had been away for a week and just felt the holiday blues. I sat down all day watching Married at First Sight (the week I had missed) the IAC .... and I only got up for tea and snacks. Bliss.

Particularly Mondays for me - find it hard to settle…

FluentTealGuide · 27/04/2026 11:20

I have some days where I just can't be bothered. I could sit on my bum all day ignoring my to-do list. It can be tricky to get out of that and start actually doing something.

I also have what I call 'down days' where I feel a bit negative about everything. Less of those since I went through therapy four years ago though.

Something I find makes one of these days less likely though is showering and/or exercising first thing. Starting the day with an achievement or just feeling nice and clean has a big impact on how quickly I can find my motivation.

I do. I spend at least a day a week in a complete melancholy mood.

Mine is usually on a Sunday because I used to feel sad about being taken back to my mums house after being with my Dad all weekend. I'm 40 and still feel the sadness of it all.

Been this way since I was three!

Loulou4022 · 27/04/2026 12:43

Frequently! In fact having one today! I was full of beans yesterday had a good nights sleep and then couldn’t wake up this morning and now feel meh!

MrThorpeHazell · 27/04/2026 17:52

It would be more remarkable if your said you NEVER had such days OP.
