The noise of footballs driving me mad

I know IABU. Theyre just kids playing. Its lovely weather, they should be enjoying the sun. But from one side I have a football being constantly kicked against a fence (my living room window is outside their back gate) and the other side is the constant bouncing of a basketball going into the net again and again. I think I am a bit sound sensitive anyway, I struggle in shops with loud music, I'm very sensitive to people sniffing/chewing.

A bouncing basketball is the worse sound- I once asked my neighbour to stop (young adult)- horrendous noise.

I wouldn’t ask kids to stop.

I don’t mind a football but I’m used to it so can block it out.

Could wearing loops help (a little)?

I think its the football being kicked against the fence, over and over again.
Yes the basketball noise is A LOT.
Are they the loop earplugs? I'm watching TV whilst all this noise is going on, would I not be able to hear the TV?

I had this at my last house , eventually the lad got older and it stopped but add in a patterdale terrier who barks at the wind and a low wall the lad constantly jumped over to retrieve his ball and it was driving me insane - high fence installed and had to start working at back of the house

It's just noise from daily life during daytime hours, so I don't think you could make any kind of complaint against it.

I'm autistic but I've learned to tune out noise pretty well so I am tolerant of most noises now. I live in a city centre and have an autistic child who would stim and meltdown so it's a skill I had to learn and part of being a resilient adult.

Thank goodness the kids are playing outside, just as kids should!

I’m always shocked at the number of free outdoor toys offered on our zero waste site. Toys that no one says they want! Just this week a tennis set, a play house and a swing ball.

Kids need exercise and play.
