Bad table manners

I’ve just spent several days with someone who repeatedly pulls bits of food out of their mouth and sticks it on their plate and sits there at the end of the meal with a big grin, cleaning all of their teeth with a napkin.

AIBU to think this is disgusting??

Nothing worse than bad table manners. I used to work with a woman who used to sit and pick food out of her teeth after her lunch and while I was still eating. It was gross, I started going for a walk at lunchtime so I could avoid her!

Honestly, it made me feel sick. But since I’ve known them for a long time I’m just wondering if this is perimenopause making me more easily disgusted!

it would never occur to me to take food out of my mouth in front of anyone at all. But in a restaurant?!!
