To think Adam Thomas, did go overboard on his reaction, sweating shouting and kicking the set

Came across as a bit of a baby spoilt baby
I get it wasn't fair jimmy not even trying
Jimmy may have even done it on purpose

Fair enough if he said oh come on man, that's a joke etc

But to shout and swear multiple times and kick the set
Itv are wrong to let him stay as alot of children watch this
Really let himself down

Kick the set of what?

TeddyBearCottage · 22/04/2026 20:55

On I'm a celebrity

You do realise you have written this on the internet, not just said it to the person you are watching whatever TV show (?) you are talking about with?

benten54 · 22/04/2026 20:59

What? Who is Jimmy? Who is Adam? What set? 🫤

TeddyBearCottage · 22/04/2026 21:01

I'm watching it alone and I want to see other views, as everyones views on socials says, oh glad Adam stayed, so wanted an older audiences opinion

If he hadn't had such a mantrum
I would agree he should stay
As jimmy did not even try

But I do not agree with shouting swearing multiple times in an aggressive manner and kicking the set having a massive man child trantrum

Well, anyone who appears on that has got to be either desperate or thick, surely? Have they stopped them using live creatures in the challenges yet?

HappyMamma2023 · 22/04/2026 21:10

Missed this episode, but he has been acting like a child.

JustGiveMeReason · 22/04/2026 21:39

YABU to start a thread without giving any clue to people what you are talking about.

Oh, and there is a board for chats about TV programmes now we've established that's what you are talking about

YourShyLion · 22/04/2026 21:47

He's going for the sympathy storyline that his brother got genuinely on BB. I've no time for him or any of them tbh.

Yeah you've got a good point there

YABU to not mention what on earth you are on about!

I know because I watch I'm A Celebrity, but this really should have been on The Telly Addicts forum.

Also, Adam had every right to be pissed off and angry with Jimmy Bullard. Jimmy didn't even try to do the task with him, he just couldn't be arsed. He is selfish and lazy and mean. Adam could have got booted off the show because Jimmy couldn't be arsed. (It was not because he couldn't do it!) At the point Adam blew his stack, he thought he was going to be leaving that night. And he saw Jimmy as the sole reason. And Jimmy was the sole reason.

Fortunately, the show's producers decided Adam didn't deserve to go because Jimmy didn't try and fail, he simply couldn't be arsed. So they let Adam stay.

His reaction was quite visceral and yes a bit over the top, but everyone is allowed to be angry sometimes.

I think this could possibly stop him from winning though, as his gentle, loving, funny, nice-guy image has been tainted now, and some people did think his reaction was ridiculous. It was OTT, but I can see why he was angry. I may have reacted the same, and I am usually a calm and rational person.

He certainly let his mask slip and showed his true personality rather than his fake tv persona. Probably behaves like that a lot behind closed doors.

I actually can’t see why everyone is so against Adam on this. Jimmy picked Adam for a pairs trial where they explained if one went out both did, then literally chose to take him out, giving it the “I choose when I go” persona with no thought for the person he sabotaged. Adam has every right to be angry at him, every right to swear at him he’s an adult and the show is screened after 9pm and I’m very glad the producers gave the option for the camp to allow him to stay. I say this as someone who said at the beginning that I was dreading him as a contestant but his friendship with Gemma and support of her as Gemma not writing her off or seeing her as “the GC” was lovely and really changed my perspective of him.

Oh yes you've hit the spot there, yes that's it exactly
it felt like the mask slipped

Nailed it

I felt like Jimmy was continuing what the alpha male David started by trying to take Adam down. He chose him and he wanted to leave and decided to take Adam with him by throwing the challenge.

There were things jimmy said afterwards that made me feel like he was enjoying Adam's anger. He, jimmy came off as manipulative to me.

Then jimmy pretended he didn't know that the challenge was for elimination.

I do think Adam overreacted though. It was weird seeing all the vehicles in the background of the shots of the aftermath.

Oh yes, Jimmy did come across as conniving
esp the way he siad I’ll go when I choose to go… in a snidey way
as in I’ll take your choice away

but i still think itv set a bad example letting Adam stay after his behaviour
