To ask when you flounced?
Did you announce it or just flounce ?
Recently I left a neighbourhood group after someone asked for advice on rehoming 2 pit bull terriers.. A banned breed.

Lots of ah ring x rescue they'll take them.. And other nonsense.
I suggested her best bet was have them pts before she was arrested.
I became Enemy Number 1
.so I flounced after declaring you can't argue with stupid!
Many years ago my dm flounced from my home totally unprovoked..
Didn't see her for 10 years!
Are you a silent flouncer or not?
*non flouncers need not respond.

Flouncing, hmmmm. I don't think I've flounced but I have decided a group might not be for me anymore. I think that's normal.

Unless there were other issues, I don't think I'd give up the whole group because of this one thing and one person.

ETA - Oh wait, I once have flounced a workplace after an extended period of being treated poorly. I told them exactly why I was quitting (having quietly and properly wrapped up things that would affect innocent people first). Then left leaving them with no doubt as to why. I did eventually get an in person apology from them a few months later when ties were well and truly cut.
