Well i'm not having a bad day as such but here goes;
is it just me or does everyone else seem to have more money than u and are always boasting about what designer top they've bought there lo? I usually look in sale section or in george, this makes me feel guilty like i'm not giving my child the "best".
Also i give my baby jarred food, not all the time but alot. Which makes me feel crap again that i dont give my baby home made stuff. Sorry just had to have a rant, my friend's just bought her son 4 outfits for his cristening as she can't decided what to wear. My son hasnt had a new outfit for ages (he has plenty of clothes that fit, dont see the point in getting him more outfits till he needs them), i just dont have time to cook from scratch. I work part time and clean our house in the morning then go to baby clubs. I dont know how to cook properly, i've tried before; spent loads on raw stuff, spent ages cooking and only got a few portions that i froze for my son. AM i just a big fat crap mum?

I used to change ds everytime he so much as dribbled, and now I just change him if we going out, he spends most of day just in a vest if we at home. Now I only tend to dress him when we leave the house.

Pinky, the people you know who have new stuff for their baby every 5 minutes are doing it for themselves, to show off, not for their child.

When they are small they just need someone to cuddle, somewhere safe to sleep and to be kept fed and warm. You are doing these things and so as baby is concerned you are the best, kindest and nicest mummy in the world ever. It really doesn't matter to them if they are a bit food stained or have had the same vest on for a day or two.

I don't know how old your baby is but I think for the first year they are getting most of their nutrients from milk. So don't worry too much about the food. I never have done annabel karmel, just fed boiled carrot batons and brocolli and stuff like that which is easy. Don't be disheartened, I'm sure you're doing brilliantly!
