I also watch him on Instagram with the sound off! Don't love his singing but do love his way with animals and their reactions. People who don't agree animals have a soul are clearly wrong!

A dog behaviourist suggested we play music for our older dog, who she said was in good spirits but had got in a habit of grumbling and woofing.

We had a song that we sang to him that made him beam with delight, I can’t even explain it, it was like a full body giggle.

Here it is if you would like to sing it to your dog. (Works best for monosyllabic names.)

He gets in his bed
and he goes to sleep (substitute anything you’re trying to get your dog to do)

I've been following him for ages - the animals respond straight from the heart. We seriously underestimate them.

We need more posts like this.

If animals like ‘Galway Girl’, I’d say we’ve been overestimating them, to be fair.

My opinion of camels has certainly gone down.

I follow him and the way animals respond makes me realise we totally under estimate them as creatures. Why the hell do we think we are the better species??

I agree. My cat loves classic fm - especially during any fireworks.

They actually do a special pets programme on Bonfire Night for anxious pets and the feedback says many animals love it.
