At night ... crisp clean cool sheets, cuppa tea and some tele! Is it sad that it's arguably the best part of my day 😂. Late 40s work full time and teenage DC

Absolutely! Circumstances mean that nearly 2 year old DS is still in our room so we can only go to bed to sleep, or maybe read a kindle or listen to a podcast on headphones. He’ll be moving into his own room soon and I can’t wait to make our new bedroom (we’ve moved) a sanctuary of loveliness that I can retreat to and drink tea / read / watch something at my leisure. We’ve already ordered our new bed and splashed out on much more expensive bedding than we’d usually go for and it’s divine.

This has always been an amazing thing to me, how can it not be! Sleep/rest/chilling is what we need

Definitely normal. I calculate how many hours it is until I can get back into it.

At the weekend I start watching the clock, even when I've only just woken up from a mid afternoon nap 😂

My favourite treat is going to bed around the longest summer days while it's still light and feeling smug that all the people I can hear outside don't know what they are missing!

This is why I only have fizzy water.

I'm early 30s and with you! No teens but small baby. Nothing I love more, the earlier the better too. Only annoying thing is having to get out of bed to brush my teeth after my tea and snack.

Absolutely the best part of the day. I was thinking about upgrading the whole experience to 5* hotel level bedding.....until I estimated the cost.

I went to harrods recently and the only places I want to see are the food hall and the bedding department. OMG some of those beds, I didn't even look at the prices. They were just gorgeous 😍

Shower + PJ's + cats + Netflix are the best bed combo. Until the hot flushes kick in - PJ's and cats get flung off 🥵😳🤣

Getting into bed at night is one of the best parts of my day

i think getting into bed is like a mini orgasm - just the pure relief that the day is over, the release of stress and tension, the pleasure of what i like to call 'sundried bedding', and i think i even make the same noise as i snuggle down under the covers.....

It's absolutely blissful! Fresh sheets, cup of tea or hot chocolate, a good book or a bit of television! Hot water bottle in the winter or the fan in the summer. There's no feeling like it, especially as DH works nights and I get the bed almost all to myself! My border collie insists he has to be on the bed!
