AIBU to leave after accepting a counter-offer last year?

Last year Boss gave me Counter Offer and I accepted, however I’ve now decided that despite the money, it’s time for me to move forward & have Job Interviews lined up. What is the best way to tell my Boss if I do get another Job Offer despite being given a Counter Offer previously?

Just to add, I am not 100 per cent happy there but after the Counter Offer, gave everything the benefit of the doubt.

Someone who's already decided to go is unlikely to stay long after a counter offer. I'd be very surprised if your boss didn't already realise this. Did the counter offer make any changes to anything about the job you weren't happy about, apart from increasing your salary?

People often don’t stay for that long after a successful counter offer. So your boss might not be that surprised. The general sentiment is that people usually have more reasons than just money to leave. So just offering more money is a shallow harbour.
