AIBI to be frustrated by noisy neighbours with kids?

We live in a semi detached house, our neighbours have a 3 year old and an 11 year old, ever since they moved in we have heard banging as if they’re running up and down the stairs… but constantly. We’ve always sucked it up and accepted we chose to live in a semi and have to deal with it! We’ve since had a baby who unfortunately stirs and wakes up when the banging is particularly loud or constant, it’s bizarre that it always starts around 7.30/8pm and can go on until 1am some nights. We’ve gone over a few times and they’ve always denied knowing what the banging is, but the last time we went a week ago, my husband could hear the kids running around upstairs and said he thinks that’s what we hear through the walls and she said she’d get them to stop. It hasn’t stopped 😭 I wouldn’t care in the slightest if it was during the day, or even just every now and then at night but they’re silent in the day (I work from home), it’s every single night and it just feels so exhausting. They never open any curtains & rarely go out so there may be something going on that I haven’t considered, am I being unreasonable?! I don’t have older children and have no idea what time bedtime is / should be (but assume it’s earlier tha 1am!!) does anyone have advice?!

Yanbu but a white noise machine would almost certainly help your baby to block it out!

Can you film the sound and show it to your neighbours

This is really odd. That kind of behaviour at night, every night, suggests the children aren’t for some reason being supervised in the evening. I can’t think of any parent who would enjoy listening to fairy elephants every single night. At least it might indicate they’re not glued to ipads, which is something I guess. The 11yo needs to be up early for school though.
