Just feels like an 'event' for the fans, not real boxing

What is ‘real boxing’?

I guess fighting not as a performance for the cash

Feels like the result is already decided/the people fighting the big names know they'll lose

So it isn’t boxing if it’s professional?

Mate I remember being allowed to stay up late for the Ali fights. For crying when Bruno won the world title.
I laughed when I saw A j fight...st 57 I'd put him away
Amazed when Fury opened his eyes at 8 count
As a kid from 8 to 23 I watched amateur boxing, aba, Olympic stars etc...
No it's not fixed, just shite match ups

It just doesn't feel as 'raw' maybe as the older fights does it?

Today's fight looked like a joke 🙃

Remember Mike Tyson as a young man ,nothing staged about those fights he destroyed opponents.

Pretty much what we see on TV and online is faked and staged.

I mean, when we watch the world cup, it doesnt feel staged, it feels real!

But last night's fight felt like it was organised by the Love Island producers themselves 🥺

In my experience, it doesn't matter which "sport" it is, when large sums of money are involved somebody will cheat, it's just a short step on to the contest being fixed.

As I said crap matchmaking...the big names avoid anyone decent and get put in with lesser opponents... which is why AJ has never fought Fury.... he's dodged him to get in more paydays

Well yea if Jake Paul is in it but the recent Fury fight?! No way. That was a real fight.

It probably doesnt look as raw cause it isnt 15 rounds anymore for safety reasons, its 10-12.

Did you even watch all the fights? That undercard was incredible, really competitve fights.

This latest fight looked like a piss take, just a complete farce.

The Tyson (original USA Tyson) fights weren't staged. They were on actual telly and, from what I remember, over with quite quickly.

The current fights sound like panto.

@freedomformeismotherhood Warren started by promoting unlicensed fights. He was later shot by one of his own boxers (probably...) who all hated him - Tyson punched him too. FW's first thought was to call the press as 'there's no such thing as bad publicity' (except when he is having extra marital affairs)

FW treated Frank Bruno with contempt (piss taking FB intelligence in front of people) which was upsetting as Frank was a complete Gentleman who made FW a LOT of money. FB has said some polite things about FW (he is a very polite man) but also: 'I wouldn't like to get on the wrong side of him'. Nasty guy.

I was at Joshua v Klitchko at Wembley (amazing night). I am sure it wasn't staged.
