To feel like I need a reason to be away from the children?

Have had kids all Easter with not much respite although DH did take them to the park on Good Friday morning for a couple of hours.

I could just really do with a couple of hours to myself but I’m finding it hard to say that for some reason. I’m trying to think of a ‘reason’ to disappear for a couple of hours

Are others the same or do others just say I want some time to myself and go!

Good grief, say you want some time to yourself and leave. Take a few hours, say you’ll be home by lunch. Grab a book and go and find a coffee shop. You don’t need a reason. I need some downtime is enough if you have to give a reason in your own head! 🙂

Yeah I just say I need time for myself . I don’t need to give a reason .
if you need time to yourself take it. If I were you I’d take a whole day on the weekend if OH works Monday to Friday.

Needing a break is reason enough.
