Taking DD11 for a weekend in Bath and never been before so hoping for top tips on what to see and do and any nice places to eat (mid range, prefer independent if possible, we love Thai, Japanese, Italian etc).

I'm not going till November but will keep these in mind

Unfortunately your daughter needs to be 16 plus for the Thermae Spa.

Frankestein Museum is different and quirky, plus afternoon tea is always a winner. Sweet Little Things cafe might appeal to her.

I'd walk up to the lookout point in Alexandra Park.

Most of the charm of Bath can be had by just walking around and a bit of shopping, more than specific attractions as such.

Just saw you said Thai and Japanese - Thaikhun is great for Thai, and Robun for Japanese.

Thaikhun is one of our faves. DS is currently at Bath Uni and we love visiting as it's such a lovely place

I know you said Thai or Japanese but if you also like Turkish, Cappadocia is one of my favourite restaurants.

Everyone saying Thermae Spa - you have to be over 16 and the OP has an 11 yo

I’ve found the Roman Baths really interesting both times I’ve been- but I guess that is “the obvious “!

Yumyum Thai in the centre of town is our go to! Doesn't look like much but it's super nice!

Roman Baths are worth a visit, get there early to avoid the crowds.

If you guys are fans of Bridgerton you could visit the filming locations too.

There are some gorgeous side streets and hidden spots if you go off the sides of Milsom street.

Thermae spa open top heated pool, although not sure if there's an age restriction
