To have a freezer but never freeze food?

Except ice and ice cream.

just don’t ever need to as eat everything fresh.

Not very sensible to have one if you don’t use it.

I never freeze fresh food but do buy the following frozen:

• green beans
• broccoli
• french fries
• ice cream
• ice lollies
• chicken coujons
• lots of ice

Seems a waste why did you buy such a big fridge if you don't use the freezer ?

You can of course use your freezer however you want to, but there doesn’t seem much point in getting a big freezer if you’re not the sort of person to use it.

We don't use frozen peas because I don't like them.

Ours is full of edamame beans, yellow sticker meat, fish and seafood, frozen prepped garlic and ginger, ice and lemon slices, batch cooked curries, bolognese and chili, croissants, bits of pesto etc, all sorts, wouldn't be without it.

Pea, ice cream, fish fingers chips and pizza.

@Bjorkdidit i can’t imagine not liking peas😀. However it had never occurred to me to freeze pesto, I usually either eat it several days in a row or let it go mouldy in a corner of the fridge. I will freeze it from now on.

I live alone and have 2 freezers! Lots of reduced meat and fish, bulk cooked curries and lasagna on portions, veg from my allotment
