To think I should be pregnant?!

Posting for traffic - looking for experiences of copper coil removal.

DH and I TTC first baby.

We only started trying this cycle so I was totally okay with not being pregnant when I took an early test just before my period was due and it was negative because it takes time etc.

However, as of today my period is THREE days late and no sign of it coming. I have done multiple tests including a digital clear blue (which was negative) and I have had a mixture of negatives and very faint positive lines.

I am mostly just confused tbh. My periods have been like clockwork for years and the only thing that has changed is I had my IUD removed to start the cycle but it was the copper one and everything I have read says it doesn’t make a difference to your cycle as you still ovulate etc.

Congratulations, OP! Coming off your birth control must have delayed your ovulation.

I just felt the need to test this morning - been feeling fluey all week and just had to double check. I am in shock, I never once thought we would get pregnant so quickly - looks like we are having a Christmas baby!

Congratulations! I was thinking you are probably pregnant when I read that you had a faint line earlier on. I got pregnant the first cycle with my second and didn't expect it. I didn't think much of it but knew my period was a couple of days late and it was the easter bank holiday weekend and was going to have a glass of wine but thought I best check and do a test first. Thought it would be negative but wasn't. I had a Christmas baby, didn't think about the timing as didn't expect it. She was born a couple of days after Christmas 8 years ago.
