AIBU to feel sad that my sister and I have drifted apart?

My sister and & I are very close in age and growing up & in our 20s, we saw each other all the time, had all the same friends etc and she was my best friend.

Since my sister married she has moved away, spends a lot more time with her husband’s family & friends than us and we have just drifted really. She rarely comes to family events now even though they used to be a big thing in our family for example she missed my son’s first birthday as she & her husband booked a holiday away.

I’m obviously pleased she has found happiness and has paved her own way, but I feel really sad that we don’t really see much of each other these days.

How far away is she? And have you talked to her about it?
