Easter eggs talking to me

Springtime54 · 01/04/2026 16:09

I bought 2 easter eggs for relatives today. I left them in the car so I wouldn't be tempted (I have no willpower when it comes to chocolate) but they are talking to me.

Make sure they don't melt if it's sunny where you are

myopinionis · 01/04/2026 16:17

Easter eggs die in hot cars, you know. Best bring them inside, for their own safety.

Villanellesproudmum · 01/04/2026 16:18

It’s getting close to dinner time, don’t do it! (Also telling myself the same)

Bedheadbeachbum · 01/04/2026 16:44

Two of 'our' Easter eggs talked to me earlier, they are no longer in existence! 🤣

Definitely will need to replace before Easter.

MsGreying · 01/04/2026 16:45

be brave.

ChardonnaysBeastlyCat · 01/04/2026 16:46

Make sure you don't talk back.

That way madness lies.

TheBeaTgoeson1 · 01/04/2026 16:55

Can’t you just buy yourself one?

Pinkflamingo10 · 01/04/2026 17:29

I’ve eaten and replaced the ester eggs once already ….😱

AmaryllisNightAndDay · 01/04/2026 17:33

I am on my second 1kg bag of mini-eggs. The big Easter eggs are safe with me. Oh yes.

vixen996 · 01/04/2026 17:36

Talk back and tell them to bugger off

TMFF · 01/04/2026 17:37

Most Easter eggs are just rugby ball shaped disappointments nowadays.

outerspacepotato · 01/04/2026 17:38

Earplugs.

CoolPlayer · 01/04/2026 17:40

I’ve already eat one I’d got for someone else so I’m not the person to help you with this 🤣

ThreeTescoBags · 01/04/2026 17:46

I have one in the cupboard for DS that's haunting my dreams. It's like Edgar Allan Poe did an easter special.

Assert your dominance with those pesky eggs!

Steal boast - mini-eggs are about £1m/kilo this year.

JaneGrint · 01/04/2026 18:00

Are they safe in the car boot? If it’s too sunny they might melt.

FeliciaFancybottom · 01/04/2026 18:04

Put in earplugs, drive your car to another city, get the train back home, you won't be able to hear them if they're miles away.

Go tomorrow.... to replace the one you're about to eat!

verabarbleen · 01/04/2026 18:06

my husband and I have eaten all the egg we have bought apart from the dairy free ones and now I have to buy them all again 😂

Bettercallsalli · 01/04/2026 18:09

I've sneaked the little box of Lindt truffles out of the Egg box and glued it back shut.
Ooooops

GertrudePerkinsPaperyThing · 01/04/2026 18:20

I know this is very po faced/ holier than thou, but I can never understand why people who are chocoholics don’t just buy themselves an Easter egg too! Or a sufficient amount that they can leave their children’s alone.

Obviously you can’t eat your children’s Easter eggs!

ffsnewusername · 01/04/2026 18:20

Eat them.

Popcornsandwich · 01/04/2026 18:21

Last year I had to replace my dc eggs five times
