To ask for recommendations - cctv that's solar powered and doesn't need wifi signal.

Posting in AIBU for traffic.

I need some security cameras, and maybe also a camera/light combi that have solar power, and don't need wifi. They're to put in an area with no power or wifi signal but that really need a bit of cctv. (Scary incident last week has left me feeling a bit vulnerable).

Does anyone have any that would fit the bill?

You can get them on Amazon they require a sim contract, they are around £100-£150 a camera.

We have some on our land.

We have some brilliant cameras that are solar powered, but we do access them through wifi. However - they have SIM cards so the records can be accessed. I'm not sure how one would receive notifications without some sort of communication though - and that is what you would need really.

I was unable to find any with Wi-fi and a SIM card, perhaps you mean Micro SD memory cards?
