AIBU to wonder if others remove jeans and knickers together?

I'm still learning. I'm not au-fait with all of the MN abbreviations. But, I have to say that it was wonderful to see the prolific thread on dressing, knickers first, second or last.

it reminded me of a certain incident in my twenties, and indeed my form of UNdressing,. Did anyone else sometimes, perhaps in a fit of passion or otherwise, take off their jeans and knickers in one go?

One night, sat in the pub with a male friend, Philip the Elephant, he looked at astonishment at my feet, as I sat cross legged swaying them backwards and forwards. We continued in convo for a little while, when he eventually asked what was hanging out of the bottom of my jeans. Yup. Knickers. Frightfully fluffy, frilly and black.

Did anyone else ever take off their jeans and knickers at the same time, and expose them to the world, or was it just me? Am I unreasonable to think that I am totally, totally alone here?

Nope. Totally sober. I don't need to be drunk in order to take the piss out of myself! I just thought that some readers might like to hear of the odd bit of isananity in my life, and laugh near me rather than at me. I didn't expect to be so scrutinised!

How shall I fuck off??! 😎

They were posting repeatedly at 4am this morning and it was messy. I assume drinking or drugs.

StillWeRise · 30/03/2026 21:37

I thought everyone did this? its more efficient.
I can top this though
In a cold environment (when I plan on sleeping in my t shirt) I can remove my bra without taking my t shirt off- I'm a genius!

Morepositivemum · 30/03/2026 21:39

In a pub? You took off your jeans in a pub?

Don't be silly. Read the thread.

It's not happened to me, but a colleague was walking around sainsburys one lunchtime and she felt something flapping around her foot. She realised that the previous day's knickers were creeping out the bottom of her trousers. She says that she managed to stoop down, pick them up and slip them in her pocket. We all thought it was hilarious.

I take knickers and trousers off all together virtually every day. Hate wearing knickers for more than a few hours at a time.

PottingBench · 30/03/2026 22:00

This thread has the same atmosphere as others by the poster obsessed with police raids and underwear. It's a man.

Agree. Looking for stories and photos.

mogtheexcellent · 31/03/2026 12:16

Im 53.

Well you’ve given the poster a cheap thrill there - how do you feel?

And high heels and crop tops while back.

I think OP would prefer to hear about “incidents from our twenties” 🙄

AlmostAJillSandwich · 31/03/2026 16:01

Absolutely never. Layers come off one at a time.

DramaQueenlady · 31/03/2026 16:11

Think we have all done it 😂😂

Evening All!

Dear people whose knickers fall out of their trouser bottoms and other stories, thank you for sharing.

I can assure you I am defo NOT a bloke.

I started this thread for one reason, and one reason only ...

... To make people laugh, at me, and at themselves. And share ridiculous stories!

And I would suggest that the cynical of you should perhaps get a life, and stop trying to assess and categorise people who you know absolutely nothing about. Just an idea.

It has happened to me.

Not sure how as im nowhere near agile enough to get them off in one go.

Must have got tangled in the wash

3678194b · 31/03/2026 22:55

I don't, that I can remember anyway.

Reason: as a teen I remember my mums friend telling what happened to her, as with many others here, she was in the supermarket, crouched down to get something from the bottom shelf and out popped a pair of yesterday's panties from one of her jean legs. She scooped them up, hoping no one had noticed.

So no, I've played it safe since 😂

Hahahaha!! Good move. I'm going to take a leaf out of your book!

I was selling a drill to a male customer when I felt something slither down my leg so I shook it. Out popped lacy black knickers. I scooped them up and stuffed them in my jacket pocket. And yes he bought the drill 🙈

Or even "isananity"?

Sosaidkaye · 31/03/2026 23:20

You’ve got a weird aggressive tone for someone who’s on here for a laugh.
Some of us on here are a bit suspicious of posters that sign up just to start threads looking for stories about underwear. I’m sure you can understand that.

You're extremely rude, and from where I'm standing, a bit of a bully. Sort yourself out. Oh, and have a go at improving your spelling.

... But perhaps not for someone who's just having a laugh and being hauled across the coals for it.

I have seen many threads on MN regarding underwear where posters haven't had to address such cynical questioning. There's nothing aggressive here, but I do think that some of the posts have been inappropriate and have been personal attacks. Perhaps I should have just ignored them.

I believe that there's an option here to look at what I have posted previously which would have shown that I am not only genuine but quite a kind person who's here for the greater good who hasn't just 'signed up'.

I won't respond to any further posts. I was genuinely doing this for a bit of fun.
