To be shocked at my friend's greed?

johnso · 18/06/2008 16:56

I had to meet someone for lunch today and ds6 was off school ill.
I asked a friend who has a son in ds's class to look after him at my house and she agreed.
So she turns up with her toddler twins and I leave 10 mins late after showing her where things are for lunch etc.
I was back a bit later than expected but was totally shocked to find nearly a whole loaf gone!
She ate all of my fruit and still accepted when I sarcastically offered her a biscuit!!
She is quire overweight and obviously over eating.
Should I mention something?

I think you should call the police. Can't believe you left your son in the care of this greed-fuelled monster. She might have eaten him!

ipanemagirl · 18/06/2008 17:34

cheaper than a childminder! A loaf and some fruit? That's not much repayment is it?

wotulookinat · 18/06/2008 17:37

Will you look after all her kids when they have caught the disgusting disease that your child had when she kindly looked after him and you swanned off for lunch with a mate? I hope she went through your drawers and used your vibrator as well.

johnso - you never fail to impress me. I somehow manage to always disagree with you!

Snort at someone who is on a budget on one thread having an entire brie in the fridge on another

A whole brie must cost...oooh, more than £30?

Right, that does it!!
I have just questioned ds6 whom I asked to keep an eye on her. He says he is sure he saw her put the brie in her bag!!
There is notihg for it but to send DH round there when he gets in from work

I have this vision of Margerat Mountford from the Apprentice shaking her head and tutting "these trolls just aren't what they used to be...."

ComeOVeneer · 18/06/2008 18:13

This is the most ridiculous thread. You really are grasping at straws to keep it going Johmso. Also you never answered my question about the choccies!

fullmoonfiend · 18/06/2008 18:25

Yeah, send Dh round to her...
your poor dh will probably empathise with your friend after you snaffled all his chocs!

Slingsby · 18/06/2008 18:29

Don't send your dh round. She'll only sleep with him or something. Get the police to slap an asbo on her.

Is it wrong that I'm pleased that I got it this time.
Normally I reply and believe it like a newbie

The OP is a WUM

lou031205 · 18/06/2008 19:09

johnso isn't the whole point of a troll piece to be outrageous and shockingly arrogant? When you do it too regularly it's just ... boring.

wotulookinat · 18/06/2008 19:11

Knickers, only if my batteries are worn out!!!!

MinkyBorage · 18/06/2008 21:19

I can't believe I didn't realise this was a joke! It's brilliant!

MinkyBorage · 18/06/2008 21:19

lolol at ds6

MinkyBorage · 18/06/2008 21:33

I have just scanned a few of Johnso's threads and she/he?? is a comic genius, I have had to stop because I am crying with laughter and have horrid hayfever so can't see anything and it's making my face sting, brilliant!

ThinWhiteDuchess · 18/06/2008 21:38

What I want to know johnso is what the heck this thread is to do with feminism?? After all, you are always harping on about how proud you are to be a feminist!

MinkyBorage · 18/06/2008 21:47

TWD, it's just funny, appreciate it on it's own merits!
