Clitheroe help

Posting in AIBU for traffic. Wise mumsnetters, we’ve just arrived outside Clitheroe for a few days and have forgotten 12 year old DS waterproof jacket. Anywhere nearby I could get a replacement without breaking the bank at a niche outdoors shop? Thanks!

Take the opportunity to go up the Trough of Bowland and go to Mountain Warehouse in Lancaster (plus usual high street shops) or Preston.

The chazzas are good in Clitheroe.

Charity shops are good.

Try The Original Factory Shop posited Lidl - it closes down on Wednesday so there could still be some bargains left.

Go Outdoors in Blackburn which is not far away and have great budget range for kids. Outdor action on King Street Blackburn have a good kids selection in as well.

Whalley warm and dry are excellent, but this is a more expensive option!

all off the m65
Primark burnley
sporst direct Accrington
check these haven’t shut down

at a push Blackburn isn’t that far but you’ll get stuck in traffic

Not Preston town centre - the Deepale retail park is where the Go Outdoors and Mountain Warehouse are, also Sports Direct. Easier to get to and free parking of course.

Getting stuck in traffic is the least of your worries in Blackburn!

Big Tesco in Great Harwood is an option, less lawless than Blackburn. But yes big Go Outdoors in Blackburn.

Traffics not bad at the moment. It was horrendous a few months ago but so was nearly every town and city i travelled to gor work.
It'll take about 25 mins going down A59, through Langho to Yew Tree and up Predton New Road , if you survive the journey that is (Big Tesco in Great Harwood is an option, less lawless than Blackburn wtf? )
