Does anyone have experience with applying for a Certificate of Entitlement of Abode, specifically how long it takes to get?
I am a dual citizen and have flights booked for April to a European country (my other country).
I’ve just discovered I can’t re-enter the UK on my European passport and I can’t renew my recently expired British passport as there is a minor name difference between the two passports. HM Passport office have told me I need to change my foreign passport before they will renew my British passport.
Im desperately trying to salvage the trip…
