Is Manchester Airport T3 lounge worth it for family of five?

I travelled from Manchester Airport Terminal 3 with Ryanair last October. It was extremely busy. As a family of 5 we couldn't get in to any of the restaurants despite having 2 hours before our flight time and struggled to even find 5 seats together to sit down. It wasn't fun.
Against my better judgement we flying again from terminal 3 next week. You can't pre book tables at restaurants, I've checked so we are considering the lounge.
I feel like the lack of space and facilities in the airport forces people to pay extra and book the lounge. Is it worth £156 for a family of 5? Has anyone used it before? We'd probably pay £90+ for breakfast and a soft drink each.
Just wondering how long we would actually get to spend in there because of security and being unable to drop bags off before 2 hours.

We use lounges whenever we go on holiday. Its really worth it.

Realistically you'll get an hour at the most in there. I could justify it for a couple of hours but not for an hour, especially for a family of 5.

Manchester airport is currently undergoing a huge renovation so only Ryanair flights are flying from T3 at the moment. I've only flown from T2 recently not T3 so I can't comment on how busy it is but it may not be as bad as it was for your last trip.

I wouldn't pay £90 for the crap, overpriced food. We take our own sandwiches, or pickup at Greggs then just buy teas and coffees. I hate the rip off airport prices almost as much as the crap food they sell.

Having visited the utter shite that is Manchester T3 I'd say do it.
If you'd spend £90 on a shit breakfast anyway it's worth it purely as you can relax knowing you don't have to stress about getting seated together in a restaurant.

I was in T3 last weekend. It’s very small compared to T2. We just got our selves a meal deal and sat near the big windows where you can see the planes, away from all the main chaos.

T3 is a small overpriced shithole

We paid for the lounge. It was totally worth and started the holiday off in a very chilled way. We'll definitely consider it again in the future.
