18 month old tortured for a confession

This story is finally making it to main news. You may have heard about the 18 month old baby who was tortured by Israel so that his dad would give a false confession. Well now it’s finally being reported by western media. It’s still not gaining as much outrage as it should.

If you search online you can see interviews with the child’s family and video footage of the child being handed over to the Red Crescent by Israel. You can also see the wounds in the child.

The child was burned with cigarettes and pins for over 10 hours.

It is absolutely fucking shameful what they did to that poor baby.

This is a false story put about by Hamas. The father admitted he was using his child as a human shield and the wounds on the toddler were caused by shrapnel, not torture. He was treated by Israeli medics and returned to his family by the Red Crescent.

I mean if you’re happy to believe this I don’t know if anyone can help you. No father uses his toddler as a human shield - and what does that even mean in this case? They come to burn him with cigarettes and he shoves his child in front of himself to take the burns instead of him? Nonsense. Absolutely shameful and agree op it is good it is being publicised.

The Israeli military denies abusing the child and says his father, who remains missing, was a Hamas member who used him as a human shield. It has not publicly provided evidence to support that claim.

How do you know that it's false, especially as the father is still missing? When was he found to admit the Israeli claim?

There are Israeli soldiers admitting on camera that they have killed children so what makes you think they wouldn’t do this.

It beggars belief that anyone would be so quick to unquestionably take the Israeli side in this. Was the toddler twirling around so that he was hit by shrapnel both in front and behind his legs?

Hamas made up Hind Rajab, Reem and her grandfather, the baby beheaded by a strike, the countless journalists, the World Kitchen workers, the boy with Down’s syndrome attacked by a dog and left to die, the paramedics and ambulance drivers, the newborn twins who were killed on the same day their father went to register their births, they’re all made up stories or either Hamas killed them and blamed Israel because Israel can do no wrong.

Why would they need to invent stories of child suffering in Gaza when there are already so many documented ones to choose from? A cardinal read aloud the names of the children killed in Gaza a few days ago and it took him 7 hours.

As for the toddler, from what I’ve seen IDF released footage of themselves handing him over to the Red Cross, and so far it hasn’t been confirmed by RC whether he was injured or not.

Exactly. The video of him being handed back to the red cross is available online. He is happy with the IDF soldiers, they treated him well. Just unfortunate the family he was born into.
