are reminiscent of 1970s TV annuals or kids magazines like "Look-In" ?

And not worthy of serious consideration ?

I've thought this for a while, but 3 rather overdone examples pushed me over the edge

YANBU - self explanatory
YABU - actually I quite like it as news needs to be presented as if it was the cover of a Ladybird book (No slur on Ladybird books - they taught me to read).

Well the first one just looks like its been edited with photoshop to create a compilation image, I am not seening obvious use of AI there. The second one looks odd, but I find a lot of wide angle lense shots of complicated interiors tend to.

As examples of 'overblown AI'.. er, these just aren't. I find actual AI images are absolutely awful and will not engage with whatever it is/whoever it is has used them!
