in thinking that when I shop online and add something to my basket, that I do actually "have it"?

I've just managed to get my hands on to wii fits, one from John Lewis and one from Viking Direct.

I enter all my details to be told there are none left

It's worse when you go instore (Woolies do this all the time), queue up with the box, only to get to the checkoput to be tld 'we don't have any left shall I order it online for you?'

At least it tells you now, not like Amazon that leaves it several months before telling you they are having trouble getting it.

they do this in blockbusters too they ha all the wii games, consoles and remotes out on the shelfs (well the boxes) and when you get to the front of the queue they snottily tell you that "doh" they are outof stock well sorry for assuming it's like false advertising to imply you have them by putting out the bxes with out any of the "out of stock" stickers on them
