Happy fudge day.... Equivalent for mother's day?

Fudge day is for father's, uncle, dad's, granddad's and everyone else on father's day.

As someone who was abandoned in pregnancy than I can understand the issues single parents households have.

However I find it absolutely disgusting to try and hijack a day like this.

I can't imagine mothers day being repackaged as anyone with a vagina day.

People frequently celebrate Mother's Day with their non-mother female relatives.
You can even get cards ("you're like a mother to me" etc) and have been able to for donkeys years.

Everyone knows it's mother's day

It’s sometimes known as ‘Mothers and Others Day’.

At school, we celebrate Mother’s and Father’s Days by helping the children to make a card. However as we have some children who live in families with only one parent or same sex parents, we always include other family members of the same sex so all children can be included in the activity. Most families are still celebrating the traditional way, but I see no issue with ensuring that children who may find the activity difficult due to bereavement or estrangement are able to join in.

I've literally never heard of Fudge Day either. Is it actually a thing or just an imagination of the OP born out of their circumstances?

I did. Several times. It don’t make any sense.

This is the only mention of FUDGE day I have ever seen. So rest assured, no one is hijacking it successfully.

A grandfather is a father. But yea it’s for people who have or are a father role in a child’s life.
