that I freeze to death in my bed for fear of how loud making a hot water bottle would be.

YABVU. Make a normal amount of noise and she will learn to sleep through it. Tiptoe around, and you'll have to carry on doing that forever.

Aye....usually she's fine but she;s been ill and we got no sleep last night....

She must be fast asleep though surely....

you're right about making noise. Usually she;ll sleep through anything!

I'm bloody cold........ I though it was JUne??!?!1

We're not quiet around DD and yes in the begginning she woke up but the other day DP had left the upstairs TV on at a stupid volume and she wiggled abit but slept through.

You need to get her used to some noise or she's going to be a light sleeper and never able to live in a town/by a road etc etc

I know i've put the heating on here and i've still got numb toes sitting in front of the computer (yeh I know I should wear socks but theyre all the way upstairs)

Where on earth do you people live?

Agree about the noise though. We never made any particular effort to be quite when our DS's slept. Now I think the house could fall doen around them.

SIL used to disconnect the doorbell and no TV allowed after here DD was in bed, really! She's 10 now an I still don't think they've ever had a full nights sleep.

LuckySalem · 17/06/2008 22:40

I watch TV in bed and DD is still in our room. She stirs when I first turn it on but she doesn't wake up!
