Bastard abusive and awful DH has received two texts tonight verifying his hinge and bumble accounts. Wtf.
How do I get on there and catch him redhanded? i’ve never used a dating app. Help a girl out?
Needless to say i’m LTB.

Why give him the satisfaction of knowing you know he’s cheating. Hurt his ego by just telling him you’re bored of him and he’s not for you anymore and leave.

PollyBell · 17/03/2026 22:09

So the fact your abusive and awful husband may be dating is the worst thing he can do? why on earth would you care?

Ghasha · 17/03/2026 22:29

I just want to catch him red handed for my own entertainment mostly!

Ask a friend to make a fake account and scroll through until she finds him?

HitMePlease34 · 17/03/2026 22:34

Look for the app icons on his phone screen? Saying that, mine pretended the Hinge logo was The Hilton. Men just lie.

DameOfThrones · 17/03/2026 22:39

How did you see the texts?

Surely they’re enough?

toomuchfaff · 18/03/2026 10:19

What do you want to catch him for?

You're leaving. its over?

Catch him so you can argue more? So he can say some hurtful things that of course hes on dating apps - youre a whale or a slug, of course he is? (not saying you are, but an example of something hurtful)

What do you want to catch him for? so you can gotcha him? how do you think that will play out? He falls castrate at your feet begging forgiveness promising the change? nah... wont happen.

just dont, just stop, get on with your plans to leave, leave him in your rearview; start on your glow up and move on

I understand needing to know for sure before making a decision to leave, but you already know he’s on the apps. You’ve seen the texts. So what are you hoping to achieve if you ‘catch’ him? Better to put your energy into getting your ducks in a row. Secure important documents, see a solicitor for a free half hour initial consultation. I’m sorry this has happened, it sounds like you’re well rid of him.

he will say something like hes just looking for his mate or a woman in work is on it or it’s for a laugh. or even say it’s wank fodder. rather than admit the truth.

why give him the satisfaction?
ducks in a row time before he starts hiding savings accounts and things.
