AIBU to find this upsetting TW mentions abuse

On the train heard two men late middle aged discussing the conviction of the pedophile in the nursery and comparing it to Epstein.

They came to the conclusion Epstein wasn’t really a pedophile as he took advantage of teenagers and young women who had gone through puberty and that it wasn’t as bad as the pedophile in nursery.

I find the rape of teenage children being dressed up as taking advantage massively offensive as well as their saying it’s only pedophilia if it’s young kids and not as bad if they are teenagers.

IABU to have found the conversation very upsetting.

Not voting because you’re not unreasonable to feel whatever you want but paedophilia is pre pubescent victims and Epstein’s were 17/18 I think.

Obviously all sexual assault and abuse is atrocious. There is a special place in hell for those that abuse babies though — they are so defenceless and vulnerable and small. That doesn’t make any sort if sexual abuse acceptable though!

Youngest was 14

His conviction was for trafficking a 14 year old. According to the Epstein files there was at least one victim as young as 9 and others in the age range of 10 and 11 and 12 .

There is something very sick about anyone trying to minimise Epstein's crimes.
