Aibu to think that if a parent assults someone they are banned from a club?

Basically, been a whole to do with eldests sport.
A parent of a participant make false accusations towards a coach (governing body investigated and was ruled as no concern)
The council charity that runs the complex also looked into it and no concern.
Its basically because the coach is male and its a female dominated sport. Also, what it was over the female coaches do all the time...but its ok, cos they are female (its nothing to do with contact with the participants, that is always in 1 area and there are cameras!l)

This finding them not guilty of anything made said parent angry, and they then tried to assult the coach at a training session (distressing the person getting coached).

Police have said its assult and its being dealt with.

Now said parent has made a sponsorship of the club that runs from this complex - and that most of the people are members of. The other parent is on the committee.

There is not another facility in the locality that does this sport.

Personally this has left a really sour taste in my mouth, and I dont like the fact that they are basically saying its ok for parents to assult coaches, just pay us some ££ and we won't mind!

I guess it's the parent at fault, not the child.

If I were the coaches, I would insist that parent wasn't allowed into the venue, but would assume the child (amd other adults in childs life) was.

I believe this was asked for, we have been avoiding the sessions as the kid involved has also been abusive to my kid ( but as they are like 6 yrs younger its forgiven...)

There are other deeper issues (certain coaches having more clout and steering things their way in relation to this).

I am also angry, as if this family makes the coach quit, my kid basically loses their hobby, the thing they do to regulate ans cope with their ADD.
