AIBU to buy another Toniebox and not choose a different first birthday gift?

I bought my best friend’s baby a toniebox. Now my other friend’s baby will soon be one year old, what on earth do I buy my other friend’s child

Is there a reason you can't buy the other child aToniebox as well? Seems like a nice enough present.

If you are happy to spend the money, and are worried about duplication - don't be.

If you don't want to spend the same amount of money, go buy something else - books, soft toy, pull along toy...

I was worried about the duplication, not about the money.

Then go for it. You've found sonething lovely to gift. Don't stress about duplication.

You could check with your friend first just in case anyone else is about to buy it such as a grandparent?
