People who shout towards staff about rising prices when the staff have ZERO control over prices are scum

Fuel prices have increased past fortnight. Staff who don’t have any say in how much prices are get the brunt by customers.

Also when i worked at a supermarket, we got the blame when their newspaper went up 10p. I remember one man saying he’s going to the newsagents. Erm it’s the same price there.

I know it’s frustrating to see fuel prices shooting up but the staff in the station shouldn’t get abuse.

The staff you see in shops, pubs etc have no input into the situation of prices.

Many retail staff are on breaking point with their job. It just needs one horrible customer to make them leave.

I’ve never in 53 years seen anyone shout at staff members over increased prices. Is this a big issue?

I work in retail as a cashier .I get aggro from customers about prices, the couriers the company uses , the WiFi , quality of products etc . I know they're just frustrated but it does make me laugh . I'm at the bottom of the ladder paid £13 p/h . But yes I am responsible for the poor quality WiFi 🙄🤣

And when you suggest the customer complains to head office / customer services they don't want to do that because the customer is telling 'you' and 'you' can pass it on. Urmm yeah OK!
