… no, it’s not what you think. It’s a shout out for lovely people who work long hours for not much money and are lovely.
I moved house recently so have been sorting out utilities - today I have spoken to Becca, James, Kathryn and Michelle. Honestly, I want to have a party at my house and invite them all! It’s such a bore and a chore sorting out all this stuff but nice people make all the difference. Also talking to humans and not robots. Becca got engaged last weekend, James bought a new car recently, Kathryn had just qualified as a yoga instructor and Michelle’s son has the same birthday as me and her daughter studied geography at Swansea. As I say, people. It didn’t mean we had protracted conversations, just nice chat around the admin parts.
I am also currently out for lunch/dinner at a local restaurant and the main chap here is one I have met twice before (in two years), not only remembered me, but as it’s not busy we had a good old chat about house moving - he moved two months ago - and generally put the world to rights. And I have a free glass of Prosecco! So add Kyle to the lovely persons list.
Honestly, people are so lovely really aren’t they? And customer services in particular deal with so much crap. So a shout out to brilliant customer services people really! Feel free to share your stories too!
