To move hotels during my honeymoon?

Stuck on what to do.

We only have a short time available for our honeymoon in April. We are going on an adventure trip followed by a few days in a warm and interesting city.

We originally planned to stay in the city hotel for four nights, but now we are staying in the country an extra day. The city hotel did not have any rooms for our last night, so we booked two nights (only) in a beautiful country hotel where we will have a private pool and villa and we can get a complimentary private hammam. The new place is about twice the price per night.

Now the city hotel has space for us the last night. AIBU to move hotels, so we are jumping around a lot? Or is it a good idea to have more experienced and end the trip in total relaxation?

It's entirely dependent in what you want... neither option is unreasonable.

How much of a ball ache will moving be. Your only initially going for 4 nights, so you weren't planning on taking a lot I expect...and an extra night in a country hotel would be an extra treat

Good point! We won't have much time to settle in even if the stay goes from 4 to 5 nights.

Yours is also a good point 🤣. Personally I wouldn't given the time and effort and the short time to enjoy it. But I would consider the ball ache factor and the extra luxury until I tied myself up in knots!!!

Yes, this is what I am doing. I want it to be super special but also relaxing! Ahhhh!

Update: we decided to move hotels so we can end the honeymoon in total relaxation and luxury
