To have a chin hair

I can’t make this up! I’ve been having chemo since November weekly, I have lost all my body hair, eyelashes, eyebrows, but just found a dark chin hair staying strong.

My body is definitely laughing at me that’s for sure

My chin hair was the first to return!

And really thick black leg hair! 😂

That's what I had come back first too. Solidarity on the chemo, I have 2 'preventative' cycles left and it's literally destroying me.

They should be studied for their resilience. Sorry about the chemo OP, hope you are doing ok

I cold capped and fortunately kept my hair and indeed my eyebrows. Lost all my body hair. Was so pleased to have kept my lashes and thought I was special until they all fell out a week after chemo finished 😑. Good luck with your treatment OP.

Someone should study chin hairs in menopausal women in order to laugh at the weakness of scalp hair in men.

This week I learned that there have been more medical studies done on male pattern baldness than endometriosis. FFS.

Chemo caused my hair to go curly and my chin sprout a beard!

@TheFormidableMrsC i am cold capping, it’s working wonders.. for now. I’ve got very long very dark thick hair. My eyebrows falling off was a recent development of about 2 weeks ago.

i look very odd with a full head of hair but nowhere else. They’ve just changed my treatment to a diabolical concoction so think it will probably be on its way out soon.

Bless you, I’d go and get brows done. I can highly recommend Rapidlash to regrow your lashes. I had enough to put a bit of mascara after two weeks and then they grew so fast I had to stop
using it because they were so long. I really hope
the capping continues to work for you! Will keep
everything crossed. You’re right though, you’ve got to find the humour however rubbish things are!
