So I have got the nuk perfect match bottles…i feel my baby is struggling with the teats 🤦‍♀️ she is making a really loud clicking sound and she gags 😞 not sure if the flow is too fast she is on the slowest one for this bottle or if the teat itself is too big for her mouth…does anyone know if any other brand of teats fits the nuk perfect match bottles or am I going to have to change the bottles completely 😕 I’m struggling to find anything online. My only thought was to try tommee tippee teats and the neck of the bottles are similar. Any help to a very stressed mum would be great 😊 I will add a photo of the nuk bottles I have

I think you normally have to buy the whole bottle - even if the neck size is the same the threads might be different? But when I had bottle refusal issues with one of my DC I bought a mix and match bundle from Vinted so I could try different ones - might be worth seeing if there are any, or cheap single bottles, so you can find one that works.

I don’t know about these bottles but sounds like she isn’t getting on with them.

I always used Mam bottles with mine because they self sterilise in the microwave if you put them together a certain way so you don’t have to faff around with sterilisers etc - might be worth just writing off these bottles and trying something else?

Clicking is a sign of oral dysfunction like a tongue tie. I’d get that assessed. Nuk and lansinoh are usually the ones that oral practitioners recommend so if clicking on these there’s definitely something else going on

I used mam bottles, made it in the perfect prep and tipped it into the sterilised bottle.

totally misread perfect as perfect prep. Ignore that. Apologies

Maybe try a narrow necked bottle, my little one had huge trouble latching onto normal bottles and couldnt feed effectively because of it. The dr brown narrow necked ones saved our sanity and he loved them. Specifically search for the narrow necked ones though as the normal dr brown ones are wider. Good luck!
