To think that hate begins from within and is then projected outwardly, same with love?

I've been thinking lately about how our inner world shapes how we treat others. If you're full of resentment or self-loathing, it leaks out through judgement, bitterness, even cruelty. But the same is true with love: when people are grounded and accepting of themselves, it radiates outward. Maybe how we treat others is just a mirror of what's going on inside?

Well, yes. This is widely known isn't it?

It’s an oversimplification I think. I’m pretty sure Boris Johnson is accepting of himself. It hasn’t particularly led to him treating other people well.

OP, I agree.

I think it's often the other way around actually.
If you make an effort to show love to people you dislike, it can often lead to a softening of your own feelings towards them (not in abusive situations etc, thinking more of annoying neighbours and cliquey school mums).
