Unashamedly posting for traffic!

I'm looking for the Woman's Institute Soft and Chunky Navy wool for my daughter. I only need one ball. I can't find any in the UK so thought I'd try the hivemind of Mumsnet 😄

There’s some for sale on Ravelry

sesquipedalian · 06/03/2026 23:09

This place appears to have it at a sale price of £5.88 a ball -

Ooh I'll try Ravelry, I don't know how I missed that!
Thank you for the link too, that's the only place I'd seen it, but assumed it was from America because of the shipping costs? If not, it might just need a bulk order which I'm happy to do if I can hide it from DH 😆

Try Wool Warehouse or Lovecrafts.

KnickerlessParsons · 07/03/2026 00:23

Have you tried Hobbycraft? They sell WI wool.

Floatlikeafeather2 · 07/03/2026 00:38

Women's Institute is Hobbycraft's own brand yarn, so that's the logical place to look for it and probably the cheapest. If you can get to a branch, obviously it saves you postage too.

Hobbycraft hasn't got this colour in stock anymore. Online or in store.
