They Requested an NHS GP fit note that i submitted yesterday but now no response as to whether this is accepted or not. Now I have an NHS fit note, and it’s submitted, do I need to do anything else re contact with my employer about contact tomorrow re sickness or not. I did ask for a time to call them to discuss/them

If your fit notes says you’ll be off for xx amount of time, I’d say you’ve given the employer what the need?

I would just leave it now - you’ve sent what they’ve requested and if they need anything else, they should let you know.

They have to accept the NHS fit note.

I think you might need to check the company sick leave policy to see what their rules are about contact during sick leave.

I have been in contact re sick leave every day. I have done what has been requested but no response today to accept my NHS fit note. I guess I’ll just have to contact them tomorrow as unfit to work until they reply.

Bupa/ private notes arent MED3 forms which are accepted by NHS/DWP for stat sick pay which is why they need a GP one. The NHS GP fit note will be accepted and all pay shoukd be back dated to the date on the note so youll be fine xx
